How Our Ventures Scale

Every venture in the Foundry for Good studio, incubated from scratch or strategically acquired, runs on the same shared infrastructure. You bring the domain expertise; we bring the resources to keep the engine running.

Shared infrastructure

Five powerful engines we equip our ventures with

Marketing & Growth Engine

In-house marketing, ready to deploy. You get SEO content strategy, video production, digital PR, link-building, paid promotion, and webinar/lead-gen programs.

A new company's slowest years are usually the ones spent earning an audience. Our ventures skip most of that. Across the Foundry for Good network we own 17 domains and the sector relationships that come with them: content, community, and search footprints that already reach the exact buyers a new venture needs.

Those channels are real and named. Nexus Marketing has ranked nonprofit-sector content for over a decade and NXUnite convenes thousands of nonprofit professionals. A new venture launches into that footprint, warmed by a 500+ partner network, instead of starting cold. Taken together, the portfolio already serves more than 8,000 clients.

What that looks like, day to day:

  • Email distribution — Direct access to a 100,000+ list of nonprofit and association professionals, an audience most founders would spend years building from zero.
  • Webinar strategy — A proven playbook for running and promoting webinars, plus placement on partner webinars already reaching the right buyers.
  • Podcast and co-marketing placements — Warm introductions onto partner podcasts and webinars, earned media that would normally require months of outbound pitching.
  • Content on authoritative domains — Your venture's content placed on established, high-authority sites across the network, not competing from scratch for search visibility.
  • Positioned as an industry expert — Founders are actively featured and promoted as voices in their sector, not left to build a personal platform alongside a company.

Product & Business Strategy Support

Beyond marketing, ventures get ongoing input on product roadmaps, pricing strategy, and business efficiencies. This guidance is informed by actual revenue patterns we’ve seen work (and fail) across our portfolio, not just startup theory.

Finance & Back-Office

Finance and accounting run centrally. A founding team shouldn’t be learning payroll software or basic bookkeeping while trying to close their first major customer. This is shared, institutional infrastructure across the studio.

Network & Partnerships

Every venture gets immediate access to the broader Foundry for Good ecosystem: partner platforms, cross-promotion opportunities, and warm introductions to buyers that would otherwise take years to build independently.

Sector Advisors

For ventures where it matters, founding teams are paired with an advisor who knows the specific sector inside and out — someone who understands the buyers, the budget cycles, and what actually works in nonprofit, education, government, or social-impact markets, not a generalist startup mentor.

This Is What It Looks Like in the Portfolio

Tradewing

Acquired, then rebuilt: full platform rebrand, a dedicated Client Success/Sales/Marketing team hired in, and a streamlined product cycle, under CEO Lomesh Shah.

Proof in the Portfolio: Tradewing’s turnaround tapped directly into the NXUnite ecosystem (another FFG property), allowing the team to host targeted webinars that generated a massive wave of qualified inbound leads sourced through an existing, trusted network.

eCardWidget

Founded by Tim Badolato in 2020; Foundry for Good invested in 2022 and built out the marketing engine, sales enablement, and product strategy support alongside him.

Proof in the Portfolio: At eCardWidget, we drove growth through SEO-optimized content, tailored video production, and sponsored webinars from day one of the partnership. At eCardWidget, we provided direct, ongoing feedback on pricing tiers and the development roadmap to ensure the product scaled profitably.

Getting Attention

A business venture lead model: digital marketing consulting for nonprofits, built and scaled with FFG’s operating support behind it.

Proof in the Portfolio: For Getting Attention (a venture we incubated), our shared inbound engine now drives roughly 40 highly qualified inbound leads per month.

FullerFocus

Founded by Alex Bushe, and Foundry for Good invested in 2026. Foundry for Good is currently working on scaling their marketing operations and internal team to better establish polished processes for sales and product expansion.

Proof in the Portfolio: For Fuller Focus (our B2B data intelligence platform), we provided the strategic framework to surface insights from 738M+ fields of IRS data, helping the founder sign enterprise clients rapidly.
