We are building our venture team.

Seasoned investors and operators will be able to drive the companies changing the future: for good. You will work directly with growing US companies operating in the social good sector, inside the investment arm that funds them.

Why this team exists

We want to build a team with a renowned track record, diverse viewpoints, and sharp technical acumen to help the social good sector succeed.

Foundry for Good has spent fourteen years building seven profitable companies in the U.S. social good economy. The studio is the investment arm that funds the next ones, and it needs an investment and operating team of its own.

We are building that team in the Philippines. The people who join it will run diligence on live ventures, sit in on portfolio operating reviews, work alongside U.S. company leadership on growth problems, and be first in line for a venture lead seat when a company is capitalized.

The studio's stated intent is to develop venture leads. That is the career path: from associate to operator to running a company you hold equity in.

What the seat looks like

Real portfolio work, from week one.

There will be direct work between you and the companies. You will be in the operating conversations.

Sizing a market and building the memo Deal work

Live diligence

Market sizing, buyer interviews, competitive teardowns, and the memo that decides whether the business model gets capital. Most Venture ideas die at this gate, and discussions here are purposive and detailed.

An operating review with company leadership Portfolio work

Operating reviews

Regular check-ins with company leadership across seven operating brands: pipeline, retention, hiring, and the bottleneck of the month.

Standing up a newly capitalized venture Build work

Inside a new venture

When a company is capitalized, someone from this bench is in it: standing up go-to-market, running the first customer conversations, hiring the first team.

Working directly with the partners who commit the capital Access

The partners, directly

The people who commit the capital help you operate the businesses. You work with them and you will learn key concepts needed to succeed in the social good space.

A venture lead running a funded company Path

A venture lead seat

The studio sources operators from this bench. The end state is running a funded company with 5-30% equity in total combined across the founding team, salaried from day one.

The shared marketing, finance and recruiting bench Platform

100+ colleagues behind you

Foundry for Good's Philippines team already spans Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, held at a 95% retention rate. Content, digital PR, finance and accounting, network engagement, and talent sourcing run as shared functions across the portfolio, and you pull on them the same way a founder does.

Open roles

Where we are hiring.

All roles are full-time and Philippines-based, working U.S.-facing hours with the portfolio companies. Apply to any of them with a note about what you have actually run.

Now hiring

Every open role lives on our job board.

Every opening is posted, kept current, and applied to in one place.

Do not see your role? The bench is being built from scratch, so a strong operator with a clear record of what they have run is worth a conversation even without an open listing. Roles across the seven operating companies are posted separately at careers.foundryforgood.com.

The process

How hiring works here.

The same diligence we run on an investment, applied to a person. It is deliberately specific about what you have actually done.

Step 01

Intro conversation

Twenty minutes on what you have run, what you own now, and what you want to own next.

Step 02

Working session

A real problem from the portfolio or a live thesis. We look at how you reason, not whether you land on our answer.

Step 03

Partner conversation

Time with the partners who commit the capital, and with an operator from one of the companies.

Step 04

Offer and start date

Complete terms in writing, including how the path to a venture lead seat works from where you are joining.

What we look for

  • A specific record: something you owned, and what happened to it.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, because most of the work is deciding what the question is.
  • Judgment about people, since we invest in operators as much as businesses.
  • Genuine interest in the social good economy, not just in venture as a career.
  • Willingness to be in the operating seat rather than adjacent to it.

What we do not require

  • A prior venture capital title. Operators convert well here.
  • A specific school or a specific city inside the Philippines.
  • Nonprofit sector experience on day one, though it accelerates you.
  • A finished idea. Theses come from the studio as often as from the individual.

Candidates in the Philippines: our team already spans Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, and we are actively meeting people through finance and operator networks across the country. If you would rather talk in person than apply by email, say so in your note.

The terms

What we already pay, before the equity conversation.

The studio bench is being built on top of a Philippines team Foundry for Good has been hiring into for years. These are the bands and benefits that team is already on.

Entry level

PHP 100K+ / month

The floor for entry-level roles across the Foundry for Good portfolio in the Philippines.

Experienced technical

PHP 200K+ / month

What experienced technical roles are paid, alongside U.S.-facing teams rather than beneath them.

Time off

8 weeks paid

Eight weeks of paid time off a year, plus remote work. Output is measured, hours are not policed.

The upside

5-30% equity in total combined across the founding team

The end of this path is a venture lead seat: a funded company, a salary from day one, and a real equity stake in it.

Two numbers say more about this than the bands do: a 95% retention rate, and 100% of leadership roles filled by promoting from inside. People who join Foundry for Good in the Philippines stay, and the seats above them go to the people already here.

Building the bench

Drive the companies changing the future: for good.

Send a note with what you have run and what you want to own next. We read every one.
