A venture studio built by operators, for the mission-driven space.

We exist because the organizations doing the hardest work: nonprofits, schools, governments, and the people they serve, have been underserved by the traditional venture and private equity world.

What we are

A studio, not a fund.

We're co-founding. We're in the room from week one, not reviewing quarterly updates from a distance.

Foundry for Good is a venture studio, not a fund that writes checks and steps back. We build companies from validated ideas, pair them with matched founding teams, and back every venture with real capital and real infrastructure.

Our current portfolio spans association technology, nonprofit marketing, and AI-driven tools for the sector, and includes seven profitable companies built over fourteen years.

Our mandate

We build the best products and services in their respective spaces. We exist to create the tools where nonprofits, governments, and educational institutions see the strongest undeniable ROI, and to ensure our ventures are viewed universally as the leading providers in their category.

The goal is to build exceptional products and services, backed by mission-driven clients who see immense, measurable value in the offering.

Fourteen Years, Seven Companies
2011

Double the Donation is founded

Adam Weinger starts it after missing three of his own employer matching gift deadlines, with Kanwei Li joining as Chief Technology Officer. It is now used by 7,000+ nonprofits and schools and has identified over $1 billion in workplace giving opportunities for them.

Then

Nexus Marketing becomes the distribution layer

Founded by Rafi Norberg, it is the only digital marketing agency built around how mission-driven, community-impact, and social good professionals find the products, people, and services they need. Its 50+ specialists are the go-to-market engine the rest of the portfolio launches into.

2022

eCardWidget is backed

Tim Badolato had founded the eCard platform two years earlier and was running it alone. The studio invested in the existing business and put its marketing engine behind it: inbound strategy, SEO content, video, and partnership access, plus ongoing guidance on product roadmap and pricing. Badolato stayed CEO and still runs it today. The first company backed rather than built or bought.

2023

Getting Attention is built inside the studio

A digital marketing firm for nonprofits, incubated from a validated thesis and launched with zero outside investment. Eighteen months in it was profitable, at roughly $21K in monthly recurring revenue and about 40 inbound leads a month. The first company built end to end on the studio model.

Oct 2024

Tradewing is acquired

A membership platform for professional and trade associations with untapped potential. Three new departments follow: client success, sales, and marketing, along with faster feature rollouts and client retention up 28% after the acquisition.

Late 2025

Fuller Focus AI launches

An AI sales intelligence platform for teams selling into the nonprofit sector, giving them verified decision-maker data and organizational intelligence that CRMs and public databases do not carry. Founded and run by Alexander Bushe, who came into the studio as a Business Lead. The newest company in the portfolio and the first built on an AI-native thesis.

Today

Seven brands, fourteen years of consecutive growth

Double the Donation, Nexus Marketing, Getting Attention, Tradewing, NXUnite, eCardWidget, and Fuller Focus AI, supported by a 100+ person team in the Philippines with a 95% retention rate and every leadership seat filled from inside.

Next

The venture team in the Philippines

The studio stands up a permanent investment and operating bench in the Philippines and opens the next cohort, sourcing 3–5 mission-driven ventures and the leads who will run them.
